There are some new rules that are fairly clear and I think I have just plainly described to you that your past actions will now be in violation of the new rules. The rules aren't retroactive.

Ultimately, it will be your choice to drop the issue or not.

I did not bring the subject up, Doc did, I was just being speciffic about it. I have nothing to hide.

Seems like you do have a dog in this fight, yet you are a moderator.

Only an observation, nothing more.

Perhaps it would be better if all of us were "buds" with the mods?

Can I still use the term "dry" in a sentence or is that against the rules?:yum:

For myself, two PM's does not constitue a "bunch".

This was before any comments were made from myself.

The reason for the PM's was to find if there was some kind of misunderstanding. I was more than civil.

Since I took the time out of the day, and on my dime, called an out of state gunsmith to talk to him about why I was wrong, and after that same gunsmith explained that I wasn't wrong, I was curious to where the "miscommunication" took place.

Again, I'm not bringing the subject up, YOU are. I'm just going into detail as to why I sent two PM's (and perhaps it was only one, a while ago).
 
Please don't balme me for Dargo's "hangups".

I would just like to say(yes you can call me brown nose if you like)but a big thanks to Doc and all the unpaid crazy Mods for all the time and effort they put into FF....its hard to please all.....it's even harder to be a Mod and friend when you have to step in at times and make a fair judgement knowing members will either love or hate you for it.

Any rule adjustments i know are well thought through and discussed and are in the members best interests.....and after just having another read through all the rules man it's easy going here.

BIG THANKS TO DOC AND THE MODS FOR ALL THEY DO

Edit.....Mods can we start getting threads moved to the right area....i hate seeing stuff out of place....the lounge and open forum just seems a easy option for people.

DZ, I spoke in general terms. While many might have guessed I was talking about you and Dargo there was no need to rehash what you did. No one asked or cares. Those that witnessed it already know what happened. You apologized to me about poking Dargo. But no mention of it when you decide to post the specifics? What's up with that, are you sorry or not?
 
The rehashing of past differences should stop.
It's a given that some people can't and will never get along on this forum.
Doc doesn't waste his time here, the mods have a job that isn't easy, we all have our own opinions and different personalities.
Personalities cannot be judged simply by text content in most folks, but in some it can.
It really can.
It's best to avoid people who get you cranked, and concentrate on the threads/topics that interest you most- and IGNORE things that bug you.
I didn't shell out 50 bucks to be here as often as I am to play mind or word games.
It's a forum.
We should respect it as such.
Carry on and play nice boys and goils.

Honestly, one reason why I responded was because I thought I was being singled out.

I love the term stalking and what it implies.

I do have better things to do with my time believe it or not:D

Am I sorry about the "overall" situation? Of course, yes.

That said, if someone wants to be a smart ass towards me and tell me 2+2=6, yet can't explain how you got six, right back at you. I'm not a good enough Christain to turn the other cheek:)

Funny thing is per that original thread, other than myself, only BC mentioned that the answer may not be 6 and someone may want to check their facts.

Just because someone is my friend does not mean I'm going to agree with them if I know for a fact they are wrong.

That said, I didn't run anyone off.

Can I guess that if Gatorboy whips up some of his dry humor per one of his responses, and someone complains, that Gatorboy will be given a time out?

Or are we looking at more rules in place?

Why thank you. I'm that kind of person when if I'm told I'm wrong about something, and I think I'm right (which usually isn't the case), come hell or high water, I'm going to find the answer out and find out why I'm wrong.

Believe it or not, there are people who actually believe EVERYTHING they read on the internet as fact.
 
I'm afraid that GB may have painted himself into a corner. He ragged on Sushi about leaving and then returning. How can he then leave and return without appearing hypocritical?

The only difference that I can think of is Sushi was banned!!!!! Gator wasn't.

Let's just keep making spelling and grammar mistakes; it'll drive him nuts and he'll evetually break down and post a one-liner. You know he's watching...:shifty:
