For sale my 1967 (or so) Snow-Trac as featured in the post "ST4 back from the dead" https://www.forumsforums.com/threads/st4-back-from-the-dead.86198/
This has had a full nuts and bolts restoration and is as close as you can get to "new" Snow-Trac without having to buy one of those plastic replicas for $90k
Since finishing the restoration thread I have added cushions to the interior and swapped the engine for a fully rebuilt 1641cc twin port with crank re-grind, new mains, big ends, pistons and barrels, inlet and exhaust valves, camshaft bearings, clutch, fuel pump, distributor, carburetor, and starter motor.
The cooling system was upgraded with type 4 oil cooler with enlarged dog-house and additional extract fan on sump mounted temperature switch.
All rusted steel panel work and chassis members were replaced with new, including complete front cab and roof assembly, most of the aluminium panels are original.
New parts in the rest of the vehicle include:
Variator tower bearings and thrust bearings, Variator belt, drive chains, 16t drive sprocket, bronze track sprockets, speedo drive and cable, hand break cables with emergency steer function and inboard hand brake lever to unclutter cockpit, brake master cylinder, pipes, discs and servo, Track belts, grousers and wheel guides ( see https://www.forumsforums.com/threads/st4-tracks-sprockets.89309/ )all tyres - BKT for large wheels and fork lift solid tyres for small ones, small wheel rims and wheel bearings, all suspension bushes in "Delrin" UHMW plastic, drivers seat, small instruments, fuel tank and battery.
This runs and drives beautifully and although I have not had it in deep snow I have driven up to 32 miles on road/off road trips with no problems.
There is a minor bit of paint damage on the bumper and by the snow-track decal as can be seen in the pictures below and also the repo windscreen wipers are beginning to rust but no other defects.
Asking price is $23,000.
Vehicle is in UK (midlands) but I have had a quote for shipment on RoRo to east coast USA at $1,200 and I am happy to arrange delivery on board at this end if buyer sorts US side and pays freight cost.
