Women's Professional Baseball League is coming soon

I'm sure everyone is excited about this. But it has been announced, we have major league, several variants of the minor leagues, and now we will be getting a Women's league.

I do like going to the Gary Southshore Railcats minor league games. Tickets are often free, food is moderately priced, parking is free and safe and the park is very family friendly. So you can go, if the weather is bad or the kids are too loud you don't even feel guilty about leaving.

Are we excited . . . Almost as excited as we are about the WNBA?

I predict; Women's Baseball will go just like women's Basketball. It wont draw crowds or make money. After a few season's, they will be demanding they get paid.

Basketball is very active, moment to moment. Lots of physical action with attractive players. But the WBL games do not draw a sufficient audience to pay the bills. I have to admit it is fun to watch those lovelies physically active on the court.

OTOH;
Baseball is generally a boring game by comparison. I don't see such slow action, even with 9 pretties doing the work out in the diamond, to bring the crowd into the stadium.
