Does anyone know of any snow master or trac master for sale in the Northwest? Rebuilt, restored, project cat, parts cat....etc??
I would really like to purchase one but I dont want to travel too far to pick one up..... 400-500 miles max from Spokane, Washington.
If anyone has any leads please let me know.
Thanks,
Kevin

Yah Right. Nope just helping another friend who wants to slim down in the Snowcat equipment field. He has way to many like me. Just remember these comments as I blow by you while your stuck in your Krusti old Kristi.

"Everyone please be quiet! It's dangerous to wake a sleep walker!!!" :xeyes:

On second thought,

"HEY MIKEY, WAKE UP!"
"Somebody get some cold water to throw on him!"
"Yeah I know he's already all wet, but let's do it anyway!"
"BigAl, put down that hammer!"

Mouse Ear ..... Slide the mouse away from the computer and step away slowly ..... Assume the position . Now we are going to take you down to the big white circus tent with the red cross on it and get you some pretty pink pills that will make you feel better and bring you back to reality .

Thereeeee..... much better now, huh ? Can you now see how a Kristi will always be better than a Snot Trac or a Thickhead ?? You cannot fight it . Go with the wonderful feeling that you once owned one but hocked it to pay for that "Monkey on your back" that we call a Snot Trac .

Breath deeply and feel the warm feeling ....... By the way ,your peeing down your leg . :moon:

Say what you want but I know what you guys were doing to my prro Snow Masters gas tank fill tube. Sick sick sick. Now I have to throw that thing away and get a new fuel tank.

Naw, throw that thing away and keep the fuel tank!!! :yum:

And, back on topic, did you get CL hooked up?

GOOD LUCK snow masters and sno tracs are not easy to find I have also been looking for one and not have much luck !! And yes this a real good forum to read about and see pictures of all kinds of snow cats !!:thumb:

Hey Couchloafer,

I just started visiting the site again (snow coming soon) and can tell you that as of a month or two ago there was a '58 or '59 snow-trac sitting behind a cyclone fence near SeaTac airport (Seattle for you non-Northwesterners). I had looked at it (through the fence) last year and it had a "for sale" sign in the window. I didn't see the "for sale" sign last month but it may have fallen from it's perch. I'm pretty sure it's still for sale. I don't know anything about the engine condition. The interior looks O.K. and the orange exterior paint looks good and shiney from 100 feet (it appears it was painted with a brush). There is an electric winch attached to the front bumper.

I'd be happy to swing by the location, snap some pics, and get you some contact info if you're still looking.

I bet their are a few people interested..... Info and pics are always good!!!!

I'm suprised that I don't know about that one! Usually no less than 20 people call me up and tell me about any snow cat that they see in the area. Where by SeaTac? Sometime back awhile I wrote a thread on where to find a Snow Trac. There's a Trac Master that I restored in Goldendale WA, that one might be able to get. It had a 1776 CC, 80 HP motor.

If you know of a snomaster for sale and have pictures lets see them , I am sure there are people here interested in them and not just me .:weneedpic :weneedpic

I am still very interested in the one at seatac and the one Lyndon has mentioned. Anyone have any information available please PM me!

Lyndon, I don't recall the exact address but it's in the White Center area....less than a mile south and west of Delridge Wy/Roxbury St. I'll try to get by later tonight (I work nights and not too far from the location) and snap some pics. I don't know if the small snow storm that's due to come through here will interfere with me getting there.

One of the forum members (I don't recall who it was) told me about it last year and that's when I swung by to look at it (by then I had already bought the one you had stored at your place). An acquaintance of a buddy of mine was in the market for one a month or two ago so I drove by then to gather pics (cell phone....poor quality) and info. I'm pretty sure he didn't buy it as he wanted something a little more industrial.

May not be there still, but this fall there was a SnowTrac for sale at Lake Hood in Anchorage. It was on the NW side of the lake sitting on a trailer with a for sale sign on it. Anyway, it may still be there.

Here are a few pretty poor pics. The weather was rainy, it was dark, and the cyclone fence made taking clear pics difficult. The vin number is 447 so I think that makes it a '63 or '64? The fuel tank is black and exterior mounted on the left rear, the tracks look to be in pretty good condition, and you can barely make out the front mounted winch in pic #007.1.

In fairness to couchloafer I'll only give him the location and contact info until Tuesday (or sooner if he advises he isn't interested). Then I'll post it for all to see.

Not sure what happened to my post in this section but here it goes again.

COUCHLOAFER. Let us know if your interested or not. She is a beaut.

Well I have gone and done it. I am the new owner of Snow Trac ST4 #447. I will be picking it up in the next two weeks and I will post some more pictures when I get it home!

Thanks again to Brad for finding it and passing along the information!

Glad it worked out! By the way, I went back and figured out it was Morepwr who told me about it last February. Credit him for the find. I was just the conduit.

Fortunately, Yetti is up and running, so this additional snot trac won't be over-taxing for K.R.I.S.T.I. - Kristis Rescuing Impotent Snow Tracs, International this winter. :snow2_smi:

I'll drive by there on the way home and see if it is still there.
