Make sure you have the electric solenoid valve in line and it is working or you may spew gas all over when cranking the engine or break something internally in the engine. It turns on and off with the ignition switch and is usually below the fuel pump.
 
Started the extension job on the rear deck. Need to remove the bad section anyway and weld on another 12". This should help keep the snow off the deck and give ne some more bed to place stuff on. Heres the beggining stages.
 
I am not sure if you can tell in these pics but I have revoved the home made center section of angle iron. The rear sheet nmetal cap for the ply wood was also remove. All this was done with a 4 1/2 cutting wheel on my grinder. Cut a section of the weathered plywood off so you can get a better idea of the damage. Looks like they had something heavy off the back which stressed the light deck material.

It seems to me BigAl that you have some serious built up sexual tension.. You keep bringing up our trip to WA. Usually this indicates a deep rooted subconcious desire of some sort. Depending on many varialbles which can only be determined by many hours of psycological examination it would be very difficult to actually pin point exactly HOW #@!*#! up you trully are. These sessions would also expose how these desires came about. Sometimes long years in Prison can create such appetites.:rolleyes: Sometimes these deep rooted fantacies can be created when a long term project sudenly comes to an abrupt and horrible stop with no real finish in sight. Repeated smacking of the head :pat: can damage the frontal lobe of the brain which depending on the strength of the blows and the duration in which they are applied determines exactly what desires are aroused or destroyed. BUT again this will take many hours of therapy to determine exactly how these dillusions or fantacies came to be. Please know that we fellow members here at the Forums only care for your well being and want to see you get the help you trully need. If there is anything we can do please let us know. We appear to even have a doctor here on the forums. His call sign is DOC. He may be able to direct you to a local Psycologist or Hydraulogist :yum:

Well I finally got around to removing my tank today. Needed an extra set of hands to help move her since she was about 1/4 full. My new self priming siphon hoses should be here next week but I wanted it off so I could finish my rear deck! AND no I wont siphon it the old fashioned way.
 
I also finished cutting the rear deck section off. I will weld up some new supports and also extend the deck back a bit. :thumb:

Finished the new rear frame for the deck. The inner two are 1/8" wall as is the very end piece. The rest are factory thikness which is 1/16". The outer edge is done in 1-1/2 " x 1-1/2" steel square tubing which is much stronger the the sheet metal they used at the factory. I also beefed up the rear OC12 frame mount with a piece of 1/8" thick 1-1/2" x1-1/2" square tubing. I will get some pictures of the plywood deck (Form plywood is very H.D. and water resistant!). I like this stuff better than marine grade plywood. I think it will last longer plus I will spray it in my Bedliner stuff both sides.

You might explore a product called "Duraback" a roll-on polyurethane product. Available in many colors- google it. I have used it for non-skid on boat decks. cool stuff.
 
Is this a hint????? I will check it out. I also have a non skid surface sample of Gorilla Bark coming in. Looks promising. I will go check Duraback out.
 
Yeah, thats it. SPECIAL NOTE: if you use it where it will be exposed to sun you will need the uv-inhib version called duraback-18. This stuff is NOT smooth though- truly non-skid- typically has little rubber granules in it. I wonder if you can get it w/out the rubber. Hmmmmmm.
 
Well before I install the new deck I will be completely rebuilding the fuel delivery system. I will be installing a new fuel pump, filter, and lines. I dont know how old they are. The fuel pump looks newish but still I dont know. The fuel filter is a given and the fuel line is also an unknown. So this will delay the deck for a bit but not much.
 
I think you guys should think about the future when applying bed liner to your cat. Once it becomes shabby looking (and it will) it's about impossible to remove it.

The solution to the problem is another coat of bed liner....:yum: You can even change the colors to hot pink...:gay: That should make for a striking he man snow cat... :4_11_9: :poke:
