Mak, seems to me that the point of the OP was that the media jumped all over Palin misspeaking, even though they had the advantage of hindsight, and apparently didn't bother to check the available data. Seems to me like it was more important to have a gotcha moment than to get the facts straight.

In this example, it takes a lot of leeway to give her credit for knowing what happened to PR. It is a stretch, the runon sentece is nearly meaningless. But she so often stupids up (I can see Russia, Death Panels, and on and on) that when she might have said something that someone else didnt know it is a big deal. The fact this is a story spread by the right speaks volumes. Otherwise it would have just made the reporters look a little dumb.

This is another personal attack by the mods/admin/usual suspects on someone with nothing more than a political opinion that differs. I think the media's representation on her statements are of significance and their lack of response to her "competition" is warranted. We all know reporters don't know squat, that's a given IMO. Someone else is always doing the research for them.

I heard something about Palin not releasing her travel agenda to the press on Rush the other day. she seems to be challenging them to investigate and find her and her RV. I think that is all talk, considering that is what it is all about. But I would think you would kinda expect an adveserial attitude from the press if you would not file an agenda with them and tell them they might have to work a little bit etc. Perhaps her handlers are trying to capitalize on the press's "picking" on her. I dont think it has anything to do with her "competition." Besides, she wont run. I dont think she is that dumb, she makes more at Faux and megabucks at speaking engagements.
