The intro thread titled Boy Howdy jogged my memory of a group I used to love listening to by that name... Thought maybe some of you would remember them also....

Thats a new one on me-I actually copped that phrase from "Creem" magazine in the 70's (not what your thinking-a music magazine!) that used it as a tagline. It was the antithesis of all the "pop" music magazines (Tiger beat, etc) and for the time, and considering their demographic, it was pretty racy stuff!

I think they even produced a "Boy Howdy" beer for awhile, but alas, it was never available in Nebraska.
