Snow trac tires

Has anyone talked to TrelleBerg lately. I can't imagine we couldn't put together an order for about 500 tires

Heck, while they're building. Let's see if they'll make a set of big tires also. LOL fat chance

I have 10 of these and tubes on shelf.

I did not think they would last as long as they have.

It made me a bit sad looking for this thread. It took me two years to finally remember to post this picture. (No cell at camp) but this is the airplane 8 ply tire that made it about 6 or 7 seasons.
My opinion: is they are not designed to be shoved around sideways by wheel guides.

they are light
Sun did not bother them at all.
Perfect size
will try again when all other air filled options are depleted.

Why i was sad....?

Brad and Din. Two of the best.

The current owner of my Snow Trac is looking for new boggie wheels.

When I had to replace a couple I found that 'hand truck' tires from a high quality hand truck work fine. Personally I like Magliner's wheels.

I found a place in europe that appears to make an exact of the snow track small wheels. Problem is they don't ship internationally for some reason. I was working on having a 'local' buy and ship , unfortunately he passed away mid discussion. https://www.vlukon.com/

I had a buddy send me some. They ( if they are the same) are a bit lighter duty. Ill get some photos to support this statement.
My opinion.
Early 12 bolt oem and a maykers are very similar.
The later 6 bolt aktiv wheels are built heavily.
