As a person who pulled a dual axle utility trailer through bc recently. I can tell you they take their trailers quite seriously. I can also tell you they dont like folks reciting federal transportation codes by letter and phrase.Next year would certainly be cheaper travel costs. I didn’t educate myself before I left home on trailer licensing in BC, and as a result accumulated $980 in fines and permits.
Turns out all I needed to do was put a utility (snowmobile) plate on the trailer.
Oh well. Next year.
it is sketchy, and not really a good place to operate, need lots of skill and well prepared machine and still would stay away, and if so inclined to make the trek, best go with experienced operators and learn the mountain and how to read the conditions. As someone who has taken my cat up Mt Adams south climb, how did you guys deal with the sketchy sidehill area after Morrison creek campground? That was a terrifying area in January of '24.
Oh I did it. lol Took the kids up there in the cat and we had an absolute blast. Storm rolled in that night with 6 degrees and 60 mile per hour winds. Going up around that slope was sketchy at best. Coming down was downright terrifying. But my cat is 12 inches off the ground. I can't imagine doing it in a vintage Tucker! That slope is one of the biggest reasons I am putting a blade on the Thiokol. Even a foot of snow moved left to right would have made a really huge difference going around that corner.it is sketchy, and not really a good place to operate, need lots of skill and well prepared machine and still would stay away, and if so inclined to make the trek, best go with experienced operators and learn the mountain and how to read the conditions.
