It allows the left wing politicians to get on their soapbox and cry Climate Change......but they fail to mention lightning , careless people in the bush and the firebugs who get kicks setting fires.

recent article said the back-fires, lit intentionally/SOP.... got totally out of control/containment, and that's when things got really bad....
No one whines louder than those east coaster's. It's probably not nearly as bad as we have had.
I've been watching all the pictures from the smoke in the east. Usually we're in a full out fire season but up here west of lake superior it's been dry but nothing worse than normal. We are in a precautionary fire ban but the closest fire to us is 6hrs east. That could change quickly though. We had blue skies the past few days but today it's clouding over.
Yea if we all had electric cars there wouldent be extra smog in the smoke it would be healthier!

We got some much needed rain overnight so hopefully that helps the fire situation up here.
