People don't know how to use a hammer?

Hilarious!!!
Gotta love it!
I think I laughed for a whole minute.

Sadly, it doesn't work with small finish brads. So, when doing trim work you will still bang your fingers.
It also doesn't work with roof nails but, there you can use pliers or,,,,; a nail gun.

My Hart framing hammer (yes I have many types of carpentry hammers) has a magnet set in the top of the head and a notch to hold nail when trying to reach tough spots. I really wanted a stiletto but couldn't see spending 150$ on a hammer.

Yup

And some of the finish hammers have slots/notches for brads.
