That is some angry looking seas....
That picture brings back memories of my time working on oil rigs in the North Sea. I don't miss it one bit.
Just got a text from Don. He is doing fine, only minor siding damage. Don is 4.5 miles inland. On the coast it is a completely different story. Part of Nome flooded, and main road is washed out as well. The pictures he sent show some flooded streets in down town.
is it true this is the remnants of typhoon merbok?
