New Mexico - sites to see?

Fly into Phoenix then road trip through NM.

Will look into this. We're going to be in the area.

As they always do, the trip is changing, a lot...
We're starting in AZ, do all of NM then up to CO, over to UT then back to AZ.
We only have about 1/2 of it mapped out and it's already almost 1700 miles.

It's going to be about 3100 miles and probably close to 60 hours of travel time as we'll be on back roads and in parks.
Not counting hotels, we have over 40 different places (parks, monuments, museums...) we're going to visit.

Southern Utah is so beautiful. So much to see. If going there you might want to extend your trip by a couple weeks. Good luck.

We've been through southern Utah a few times in the past and agreed, it's beautiful.
Our last trip, we got snowed out so we couldn't get to Bryce or Grand Staircase so that's on our list.
The rest of the family hasn't been to Arches or Moab so we'll be hitting that as well.
