Seriously? Any American citizen who is traveling as a tourist in the middle east is a moron and will get what they deserve. I have almost no sympathy for these people and any others who choose to willingly put themselves in mortal danger.

The middle eastern sub-human islamo-maggots hate us. They want to kill us. Yet still the drug addled, self absorbed, American tourist morons want to travel the middle east and look at the pyramids or WTF.

I must be getting old as I have no urge to go watch a bunch of towelheads or their temples. I only want to see them in my scope if they come around here.:hammer:

This is one of my hotties. These people want an exciting 2 week vacation so they go to these God forsaken places, some of them in the middle of a civil war, and when they get their asses in a bind they try to call time-out. It doesn't work like that. And, what really pisses me off, is that the US Government often has to get involved and pay a ransom with taxpayer money to get their sorry butts back home and then what do they do, they sell their story to media. Give me a freekin' break.

I worked in Egypt and before the latest upheaval, it wasn't too bad a place but even then you didn't go wandering around out in the middle of nowhere without an armed escort, usually furnished by the army, and a really good interpreter. In a lot of these places the government may be in power but it only controls the area around large centers of population. Once you get beyond that, you're on your own.

How stupid are these people ... pretty freekin' stupid. If they get themselves taken by bandits, rebels or terrorists, let them get themselves out of the mess. And, any western woman who goes wandering around these places on their own deserves everything they get.
