Meteor Shower Watching?

I guess this fits the Outdoor Activities forum?

Tonight starts the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. I went outside a bit ago and caught one out of the corner of my eye, as well as a drone and I think a satellite?

Who else will be watching?
 
I'd like to but it's cloudy tonight and been so smokey this summer that even if it wasn't cloudy i don't think I'd be able to see it. Also supposed to be a parade of the planets this month as well.

Between the rain clouds and the Canadian forest fire smoke, we cannot see them tonite. The city lights reflect the haze and is just refracting vision too much.
