Looking for that pot of gold!

Dargo

Like a bad penny...
I'm certainly no great photographer, but I think you can see why I'm heading out by my lake to get that pot of gold! It sure looks like the rainbow ends about where the dock to my lake is. Wish me luck...

You even caught a faint outline of a double in that shot. Nice!

Thanks. I could see it with the naked eye, but I had no clue how to get a picture of it. I just bought the camera I used and that is one of the first pictures I've taken with it. I wanted a camera with a longer zoom. I bought it because the Canon PowerShot SX10IS has a 20X optical zoom along with other features. I'm sure Gatorboy could give me some advice on photography, but my idea of a good camera is one that I can point and shoot a good picture without fiddling with anything else. I forgot what that little program is where you can drag and drop a picture that is posted and see all sorts of things about the picture. I'm sure the experts on cameras here know the program and can tell me what the camera did right and what it did wrong. All I know is that I got the picture of my rainbow. We won't talk about that damn pot of gold.

These 3 photos were taken in front of our house a few years back. It is the same one.
