Gone But Not Forgotten
From what I am hearing Katie Couric is going to be the next anchor on CBS. I see Newsmax is doing a poll of which I voted for but they don't show the results.

Let's see if we can take our own poll here. You should be able to vote in multiple spots.
 
I wouldn't watch Katie, even if she became a porn star.... Now, do you want any more opinions from me????????
 
No I don't watch her at NBC, nor will I watch her at CBS.
She's certainly not worth 15 million dollars a year to read the news... I'll save them money and do it for half as much!
 
I like Katie. I think she does a fine job on Today. But, I can't see her as the serious anchor woman. Cambell Brown and many others can do that job better. But I'll watch a little bit of Katie to see how she does.
 
She's more of a leftist than Danny Blather ever was. I've got no use what so ever for the empty suites and skirts in the mass media. "Journalism" has followed the educational system and fell off the left end of reality. Anything other than their point of view is looked down on with contempt. I haven't watched "network" news in many years, and don't plan on starting any time soon. Even the local news in my little town doesn't try to mask their bias and contempt for anything other than the democrat party line. :puke1:

Who? Never have seen her (I assume it's a her). Probably never will -- I haven't watched a network news broadcast (NBC, CBS, ABC) in at least 15 years. I did see the ABC morning show once after I fell asleep the night before with the TV still on, but I have no idea who was on it.
 
She never impressed me or the wife. We like Matt L. better than her. A pretty face gets the buck. She is too prissy for me with her ways and ideals.
