Thanks for letting me join. This forum looks exactly like what I've been searching for, for a long time.

Not much to say about me really, I like to change my avatars all the time, and I've got a lot of criticism for doing so. LOL

I've posted on some pretty hardcore political forums for years, and I'm not really all that into politics. LOL I like to post music for the most part. I also like to play games, and I like to have fun. I like meeting new posters, have fun, and laugh a lot.

I haven't found the rules yet, I don't think that link works for me, so if I go outside of them, please be gentle with me until i find them. LOL

That's about it ~

I live in Spencer, Iowa. In the 1990s I lived in San Antonio, Corpus and Houston for a total of seven years for work. I'm retired now.
 
Welcome to the forum neighbor! I am from and reside in South Louisiana and have a son, daughter in law, and grand children that reside in Houston.

Me too.
I moderated one until the administrator unfortunately became ill , then passed away.

There was a time waaaay back when.. this forum did not engage in politics.
And here we are.

I'm never overly friendly or trusting of new members until I get to know them.

Anyway, welcome.

I change my avatars often.
Since being here I've had thousands.
At times I've used pictures of myself in seaside settings or ones that have been suggested for me since I've been a member of Pinterest for years.

Getting back to the political forum thing.
As mentioned, I was a moderator on a place called Political Wrinkles.
Cnredd/Chet passed away, then the forum was no longer active.
I've been on another, but got banned.
Boo hoo. Right now that same forum is suffering a crash with their server.

I've been on this forum for a long time.
I always feel a need to protect it from spammers, and have a knack for finding them on other places so the mods here don't have to work so hard.

I'm from the great state of Ohio, but have lived in various states and even England while married to my late husband Steven, then eventually moved back here.
My Father was a lieutenant commander in the United States Navy, something I am very proud of.

I've been a license practical nurse for 45 years, since the age of 20.

I have 3 Granddaughters and two sons, all of which I love with my entire being.

That's it.
Whew!

Good meeting you, Lenny. I've beem to all of those places, but I was born and raised in Dallas, and it's suburbs.

Thanks for the welcome. tired. I started making my avatars and I went sort of nuts, it became a hobby, and then they sort of did away with the program I used to make them, so I'm not making them anymore, but I have so many of them it's unreal.

I hope to run into your big rooster....I think. LOL

Hey Pirate Girl, thanks for the welcome, and I understand your thinking. I'm also currently an admin on a political forum, and I've been banned on just about every board I've posted on. I'm trying to find a new home, I hope this is it, but I will probably always post on more than just one forum.

I live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area....but I've lived mosting in the suburbs of Dallas. I've been to Lousiana many times...and who hasn't been to New Orleans? LOL Fun times ~
 
If I missed anyone, it wasn't on purpose.

I forgot to say that I'm loud, obnoxious, opinionated, and a know it all, and you will probably needto slap me around once in a while, but I'm tough. And, I understand that there will be times when we disagree. But, I don't hold a grudge.

So, now that I have an edit button...let's get this party started. LOL
 
Can someone please point me in the direction of the rules here.

I saw a link to what I thought was the rules, but it didn't work for me.

Sorry, I'm used to a much smaller forum without so many bells and whistles.
