We were on the edge of the totality band. About 2 minutes max. The craziest thing was that while it was pitch black where we were, looking south outside the band of totality it was noticeably brighter. Very weird experience. Awesome all the way around. We had about 200,000 visitors from out of state and they got their monies worth except the suckers that paid over $2000.00 a day for a hotel room.
