I am coming to T-Nuts' Town

rback33

Hangin in Tornado Alley
I have talked to Monte about this, but it has not gone as planned. We were planning to be up there middle of next week, but instead will roll in Thursday night and get the heck out by lunch on Friday. Lots of miles to cover after we leave Kansas Wednesday morning. I will touch base with Monte tomorrow.... anyone else in the area... hell it may not matter... this is WAY more rushed than what we were originally planning for...

I will alert the local authorities. The fumigators will be ready to clear your hotel room Friday afternoon.
Oh, yeah, dogs, and small children will remain indoors for the duration! :whistling:

Seriously, I hope I can catch a little time with the infamous rback22+11.

Oh yeah, be prepared to behold the results of our fine snow removal team from the city's public works sector. :glare:
That's what happens when we get a Nebraskan for a city engineer. :whistling:

LOL Generally it will be straight up US 281... we will veer off a lil here and there, but it's a straight shot north...

There is not much left of any of those small towns any more.

When I was just a small lad, I got lost on Main Street one time. Of course there was a carnival in town at the time, but how can you get lost in two blocks?:whistling:

Must have been because I was a farm boy.

Wellllll........I've heard that you guys from anywhere west of Bowdon couldn't find your ass with both hands so.................

Were you not from that area yourself before you got lost in Jamestown or should I say the Buffalo's arse?

Update. I am supposed to be up north now. Instead it is snowing like hell and I am in Mitchell, SD headed back south. Gotta reschedule. Not ALL was for not, as we did get some good things done at the dealerships we stopped at on the way up that sell our loaders anyway...

Hey, I'm only an hour or so from Mitchell; this is a heat wave, you dang wussies from the South! :raz:

I knew you were in SD, but was not sure where. As it stood when we left, we did not have time to see you as we came through. All that changed yesterday, when we u-turned at Aberdeen and came back. We will be headed out by 8 this morning. It's about 9 hours of driving and we have to stop at one dealer on the in NE to throw a grapple out when we get. I will be home tonight rather than tomorrow now. Hopefully on another trip through we can stop and say "hi" Spiffy!

rback called me during my noon lunch and asked about the impending weather, which I'd warned him about beforehand. I pulled the NWS forecast up and read it to him over the phone. He didn't feel like he wanted to deal with the possibility of freezing rain, or the predicted heavy snowfall with some stiff breezes, so.
If he ever gets here, that'll make 3 FF'ers I got to meet face-to-face.
Remember, I got to see SnoOps and :raz: Bobcat! Hear that PG? I got to meet BOBCAT!!!!!!!!!!

Better this way so I can :poke: you about sneaking off at the first sign of precipitation! :yum:

Actually, we saw more freezing rain than snow, and that sure can make for some interesting roads. But if you do get around this way again, it's not an impossible detour from either I29 or I90.

In the loader business, I believe you have a competitor in Lennox, as well as one in Sioux Falls, but even if you could fanagle a visit to either, I don't think that quite adds sales to the trip!
