How do you pronounce Camille? Asking because a while ago an old video about Depp v Heard came up on Youtube and the reporter called Camille "cameey" although I had heard it pronounced "cameel" elsewhere. Understandable since it's probably Spanish but what's the general pronunciation in the US please? FYI I've never been to the US. lol.
 
I would suggest that Camee would be a nickname or one used as an endearment.
For instance, most Catherine's are called Cathee or Cathy
