Hoover dam & Lake Mead

To Me ,that's a pretty amazing photo . I was there in the early '80's . I remember the spillways overflowing by several feet .
 
Awesome photo. The water levels there are so so low. I wonder if they'll ever return to what they once where.
Please share more photos if you have em. Hoover damn is breathtaking, I simply can't get enough of it .... one of these days I will make it out there, it is on my bucket list.
 
Is it just me, or has anyone else ever wondered what would happen downstream if a dambuster were to punch into that dam?
 
From the picture, it looks like the new bridge is done. Correct?

I was there a couple years ago and it was still a bugger getting over the dam itself.
 
yes new bridge is open, we stopped to see new bridge
