I really could not decide where to post this. But I have to ask. Why do women gossip and why do other women care? This question comes from work, someone said one of the nurses is doing it with someone and now they are fighting. Actually the whole ward is. What difference does it make what one female nurse says about the other one?

I cannot think of anything a co worker could say about me I care even a little bit about. I heard a rumor going around I slept with one of the secretaries a while back. My friend (who happened to be her manager) asked if it was true. I told him, "well, I wasnt going to, but did you know she has a twin sister?" He laughs hysterically and I go back to work and this is the next time I thought about it. My wife even works the same place I do but I tell her all the rumors first so she can play into them too.

I have had others say I was gay, etc. Why do they think it matters? I just dont care, I dont understand why someone does. what does matter to me is how to get them back to work, and get along well enough to accomplish the job.

This is what I do Mak.. at work I avoid that kind of crap.
Most of the girls say this or that about the other, I tend to shake my head and just say something off the cuff that's not really giving away what I really think, but I get along with all of them.. except for Sarge, and a little nurses aide named ****.
She drives me crazy, but I try to keep peace and my trap shut once I clock in.
 
What I am driving at PG is why does it matter even a little bit to you? I jsut dont care and cant understand why it does to women. I think Trakternut and reddog are right. Is it just a women thing?
 
Seriously though, men are just as big of gossips as women. Somehow, though, our conversation doesn't start too many wars. Don't ask me why.

You guys are WAY worse than we are! :yum: It's human to not like everybody. Nobody is perfect. I never ignore it. I nip it at the bud and go straight to the source. All of a sudden there was never a rumor :shock:

You'd be surprised Mak, when it comes to stuff like that, I think more like a man because I understand them more than my female counterparts, always have.

I think sometimes you forget there are other girls here too, and they will agree.....Most men will tell you they sometimes have sex on the brain even when they are serious. When Redneck spends all day on the tractor....I can figure on putt'in out that night :yum:
