Wife and I have bdays within 20 days of each other. So our kids bought us a glass blowing experience. Very unique. Lots of fin.

we each make a pumpkin. They instructor stepped us thru what to do. An Zoomer I remembered not to inhale while glass tube was still in my mouth. Whew.
we won’t get our works of art for a couple weeks I will post pics of the finished product once it arrives. For now here are some action shots of the process.

What a great present!

I actually tried glass blowing in Venice, Italy many years ago. What a disaster! What a blast!

It was one of those things that you knew that you were terrible at it but you also knew that if you could do it again, it would be a whole lot better, and then the next time better still ...

I would love to try it again.
