GE Double Wall Oven "error code F97"

Well the oven won't heat so the cake the lovely Mrs_Bob was intending to bake will not happen.

General Electric built in double wall oven, with regular bake, broil, convection bake and convection roast, plus 'proof' for raising yeasted breads and 'warm' for keeping food warm.

I used it yesterday, it popped up with the error code, but I hit the cancel button and it started to heat. This happened intermittently in the past, so I knew it was inevitable that there would eventually be a service call.

Looks like something related to the fan/cooling system of the oven.

Look up the service manual online. There also some appliance forums out there.
Big help on my big ice maker.

I had the same error on my range the 2 weeks before Thanksgiving 2019 the wife freaked out it was still under warranty the tech came out didn't have the parts he ordered the thermocouple and control board to be drop shipped to my house and to call when they came in.
There their in 2 days I call number is disconnected called the warranty # and asked when he is coming out they said it will be a month because he quit and left them short handled I said do you realize it's thanksgiving week and we need it and scheduled the service in december.
I put the parts in and waited till the service guy came and handed him the old parts he said what was the bad one I said I don't know and don't care he said he will have to try them I said nope your done you can leave have your boss call me if yiu have a problem, neger got the call.
