Flagpole vs high wind

Last summer I installed a new flagpole. Aluminum telescoping 20 ft. I purchased it from 'The Stand Flagpoles. https://standflagpoles.com/
They advertise premium flagpoles that can withstand winds of 100mph and more.

Last night my area had winds of 62 MPH reported. Here is what my 6 month old flagpole looks like.

Took the flag off after taking pic.

Have contacted company. Hope to get a replacement but the word guarantee is no where on their web site. Still fingers crossed.

This flag came with the flagpole. But yes that or I'll get a letter like this:

A friend on FB suggested this might be the reply:

Valued Customer;
Thank you purchasing our product. We assure you that our flag poles will stand up to 100 mph winds. However, it appears, from your picture, that you attached a flag to the flag pole and, in doing so, you voided the warranty. Flags can increase the effect of winds on the flag pole. You should never attach flag to our flag poles.

We hope that you will continue to purchase our products in the future and we are willing to give you a dollar off the cost of the next flag pole that you purchase from us."
