The doughnut sandwich—in all its experimental forms—has taken the foodie world by storm. Everyone from Paula Deen to soul singer Luther Vandross has created some version of this sweet and salty combination. Intrigued, we scoured the web to find culinary creations that use this “it” bun. Below, check out nine of our favorite finds—including a veggie version of Vandross’ famous Luther Burger—that are on the forefront of doughnut sandwich designs.
