Cold tonight.

Gone But Not Forgotten
Damn glad the wind has slowed down. We are holding at 34 but it feels colder than that. I left the old tomcat in and he came over and jumped up in my lap with his cold wet paws on my bare legs.:hammer:

46F with rain, and the "chill factor" makes it feel like 33F. Glad I don't have much traveling today, but have to clean out the van from a 7-day job. Yuk! Maybe I'll bake some French baguettes today.

Just looked at the radar and there is a pretty big area of snow and sleet trying to get here from central Pa. Sure is wild how the wind direction has changed totally over the past 2 days. The warm air came in from the north and now the cold is coming from the south.

Drizzle/rain is starting to turn to snow here. Can't see the thermostat (wrong glasses) so I can't see the temp. Winds are calm in the valley.

Damn kids left with sweatshirts on again. At least I got my son to put a raincoat on over it. Daughter left too early.

Had some wet flakes again last night. Sitting at 34 right now. Must be pretty cold as the gas boiler kicked on.

It's up to 28. Looks like it's going to be a right fine day.
You sound like my brother that lives in Skagway AK, he loves winter.

He sent me this pic yesterday and said its almost time to put the hardtop on his jeep.

That ain't right for a guy who has 70 degree temps to post pics of snow.:yum: We are up to 37 when I just loaded the boiler. They missed the daytime high yesterday by 10 degrees. Sure don't feel like it will make it to mid 40's today either. Then scattered snow and rain for the next 2 days.

I am trying to use my central heating as little as possible as prices here in the UK are through the roof. I got industrial strength draftproofing put on all windows that open so no cold can get through and splashed out on thermal backed thick curtains for every room apart from the bathroom and kitchen. I have my Snuggie, hot water bottles and two 18 tog winter duvets on my bed. I wonder how long I can go without putting the heating on as with the above I feel ok.

This is our weather but it has warmed up a few degrees today somewhat:
