Yuck.

Tilled the garden plot this afternoon and tilled up four baby bunnies.:(

I had to finish them off with a stomp. :(

I've been in and out of that garden plot with my dogs tons of times in the last few weeks getting ready to till it. I think I yelled at one of my dogs for nosing around in there the other day.

I'm not a total nature freak but this kind of thing sucks.

Now if it had been a nest of baby deer I'm not so sure I would have been as upset. I like the rabbits. When they are full grown they give the dogs good exercise and have never been caught.

Oh well, PONS at work.

With all the racket you'd think they would have flew the coup.
I get em with my rotary cutter every other year it seems. I don't like it when it happens either.

I had not been back to our river lot since late last fall. Went down there over the weekend and found a complete deer carcus. I figure someone had shot him and could not find him. It was picked clean. If I think of it I'll get a pic next time I go down there.

I faintly remember a news story about a disease you can get from rabbits.. especially if you chop them all up in the mower.
