Breast Cancer Artwork Auction

Ok. Wasn't quite sure were to post this since it is a serious topic. Some local ladies recently got together to do some fundraising for breast cancer research. One of the ideas they had was to use finger paint on a canvas and all um...er....assist in painting this work of art. The finished painting is currently being auctioned off on a local facebook page. 100% of the proceeds are going to breast cancer research. I would have gladly volunteered to hold the canvass as they...um...painted it. Here's the full description on what they did...

On Feb. 25 we had a "Girls Night Out' Breast Cancer Fund Raiser. During the evening the ladies participated in a collaborative artwork piece "Boobie Art" We put paint on our breasts and then pressed them on canvases. The display picture is the finalized Art piece that is up for auction. It is 24x36

100% of the proceeds received from this auction are being donated to Northern Cancer Research

Julie started out with breast cancer, and went beyond her 5 year survival time.
18 months later, it came back in her bones.
I don't see anything funny about cancer at all.

There isn't anything funny about cancer. But the idea they had to do a fund raiser certainly had some humor in it but all for a good cause.
