I just picked up the new drivetrain...1994 S10 2.2 L Automatic
Please let me know if you know a company that will do a "stand alone" ECM, and any other recommendation to make this work
I thinking about naming the project Bombi 1S10

Now I know why this machine was parked and disassembled...two breaks in the tub from the ram steer
It will be taking a trip to my friend Ted to weld the tub and rust repair
BTW, I am still searching for 2 track tensioners and drivers
Let me know if you have any leads for parts

Those track tensioners are hens teeth. Have you tried Prinoth? I know they can make them for you.

Bob

Thanks! Bobcatbob
Prinoth has the pistons and O rings available but not the housings
I'm thinking about using threaded rod to replace the track tensioners...Anyone else tried this or other ideas?

Check out my brand new track tensioners made at a local Amish Machine shop
Still looking for rotor for parking brake, drivers door and seat pan

......... Seven pigs, a wheelbarrow and a February 1982 Playboy magazine hidden in a bag of corn.

Well that is something.

Not sure what :applause:

But it seems plausible :bonk:

And to my mind, no snow machine is dead until I say it is dead. And to this date, that has never happened. So, as some would say "keep hope alive" and the USA did not give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor (for those of us old enough to understand that movie reference) so therefore we will not give up.

Right? :hammer:

Belushi? On The german bomber?

I like the quote i read somewhere about military equipment restoration..... " has it been melted down? If not, it can be restored"

Holy cow that is a great price! I ordered two from Prinoth…..and they were a “bit” higher. Could you let us know specifics on who made them for future Bombi owners? Moderator add to a permanent link?

Thank you for posting!

P.s. I had a head rebuilt (Detroit 453N) by the Amish….did a great job at a very fair price. I wanted to ask how they did it without electricity (facing surface) but I’m not one to pry…lol.
