It was in the mid 50's here yesterday. This morning it is right at zero. Strong North West winds all night. Not a trace of any snow. Damn...When will winter and snow get to my area... We need the moistier, still in drought here.

We are expecting your weather to reach us sometime this evening. Its in the low 30's now. Supposed to drop slowly today then plummet tonight. But we do have a little snow, with flurries expected. Could use a lot more snow!

As the week goes on that cold will make it here. Wish I would have plowed the few inches of wet snow we got yesterday. Today it is a frozen mess and I put down coal ashes on the lane before our guests left this morning. Going to take a lot of heat this week.

Used to work high steel at those temps in my younger days. It taught me one simple truth: heat is misery; cold is pain.

Here in Danialson CT it is 33F today,,,,sunny. Been cold all week. Cathy and I are leaving heading west this afternoon so that we can dodge Drunks and snow storms all the way to St Louis MO.

They will get -4F here by Thursday and a pile of white crap. So, we are bugging out for home where it is supposed to be in the mid Forties. I'm thinking of wearing a swim suit or just a towel and baking in the back yard sun.
