Basically there was a contract dispute, but I loved this part of the story from TMZ:

Grylls originally partnered with Discovery in 2006 when "Man vs. Wild" premiered on the network. So far, no word on Grylls' next move ... though it will probably somehow involve him drinking his own urine.

Isn't it always a contract dispute? Anyway, I never cared for him and I hated his show I think it's really dumb. I'm glad he won't be on the Disocovery Channel anymore.

Discovery Channel sucks now... haven't watched it for almost a year.
It's not what it used to be.
Every channel (even The Weather Channel!) have reality shows now.
By the way, never heard of Bear Grylls (is that his real name?) lol
