Back On Track
Just can't keep the grease off my hands. Don't know if my LMC snow cats interest will mean much to others, but it is a great unique experience or an obsession as the wife says to me. We live very remote and must access our home in the winter by snowmobile or snow cat. Nearest full time neighbor about 13 miles down the road. Equipment, usage and repair becomes a necessity.

Hi Bill, welcome to the party.

The Snow Trac people out number you, and even the Kristi guys out number you, but one thing is for sure, BigAl and his Kristi group are going to try to 'convert' you to the dark side. Resist!

For those who are unfamiliar with the LMC machines, they are a dual track set up that is far more modern than the Kristi or Snow Trac designs. The cab sits on top of the tracks like the modern snow cats, where the Kristi and Snow Tracs have their cabs sitting down low in between the tracks.

Why not post some photos of your LMC units? I know from prior contact that you have several units, including some for sale.

What do you use them for? Private use, commercial use, both?

Are you a hobby restorer like some of us cat owners?

Al, we might make a mess of things, but at least we don't get stuck in deep snow and have to walk home. The only way that you could have 'stepped on the pile' is when you were walking back out after your failed attempt of trying to follow us in! :poke:

Oh, and I fixed your post above so it formatted correctly, but I left your orignal syntax/spelling errors? :tiphat: Dipping into the booze a little early today? :drink:

With LMC snow cats we have to were boots. It gets really really deep. Maybe I can convert some of you to the "bright side" of snow cats.
Still would like to find the right Kristi to restore and put to the test.

Beer run last week, amazing where a six pack can take you. Just another beautiful day in our backyard. (Big Horn Mountains) Wyoming
