My brother is a custom car painter and will only use Meguiars products. He says it's the only product that doesn't screw up the finish over time. I don't personally care what the finish of my truck looks like cause it just gets hammered on rocks and trees and stuff. But he's into that stuff and likes the product. No personal experience here though.
It's a liquid so it spreads on very easy. As usual, just wait until it dries.
It lasts a good, long time. If I wax in the fall, it's still beading in the spring.
Also, you can wax pretty much anything but the rough plastic stuff (like the black mirrors) or rubber. I do the chrome, painted plastic... Heck, I know people that actually use it on their windshields as a long-term version of rain-x (although I don't do it since it'll eventually cloud or something). This wax will also remove minor scratches, buff marks...
Rusellmn, and BC ,Thanks for the input . I believe I'll give Liquid Glass a try.
BTW.. Brian, do You buy it locally,or order it ? I also noticed that it says to remove all the old wax from Your car before applying their product . Did You do that, and what did You use if You did ?
I can find it in local stores. Trader Horn carries it if there's one near your. Many car parts stores carry it as well.
I don't remove any old wax. If I did, I would just be removing the previous layer of Liquid Glass.
Brian, Been meaning to get back to You to say Thanks . It's easier to use as anything I've tried previously . It beads up nicely ,and the snow that We are getting now just slides off of the truck .
