Greetings Clowderians, We hope all of you had a wonderful Holiday season. As the clock ticks down to the 10th Anniversary of the Midwest Cat Clowder, the excitement is off the charts as the gauge shows. Hard to believe but it is only 18 days from now. If you haven't already, please sign up here if you plan on attending. Having solid numbers in advance allows us to plan events with our partners on the ground, and makes the event outstanding. It is truly by far our favorite time of the year. The website lists the schedule for the event as well as suggestions for lodging. (If you've already signed up, thank you. No need to sign up again.) We also wanted to share the "Official" logo and design for this year's Clowder. We are grateful to Team MIDWEST PRESSED at University of Northern Iowa for their super cool design and work. Check them out, they are an incredible bunch.

Some of you are digging out of the latest Midwest Snowmaggedon, and some of you are still yearning for powder. A week ago, we had zero snow on the ground, this was yesterday. Just a heads up, we are warm and the 4 feet of snow north of clowder-ville is taking a pounding. we are going up this weekend to scout out the best areas to go. friday and saturday will/should be good. thursday is going to need some help as that event in on the wrong side of the front that makes the lake effect work, ( its up wind ) so we are making the effort to find a solution. plenty of negativity on social media. understand that I call actual people who go outside and give actual feed back. so stay tuned and I will update as I can. We have a full village working on this event, we are all rowing in the same direction with oars on both sides of the boat. the upside of these road trips is we usually find snow cats sitting all lonely like!
