I bought a used 67 Corvair in 72 to use as a winter beater. Could not kill it, great traction in the snow. I kept 100 pounds of scrap copper wire in the frunk to help it steer better. :ROFLMAO:

Ralph Nader was a dumb ass shit head. The only good thing he ever did was getting enough votes in Florida to keep Al Whore from winning the 2000 election, not that GWB was a thing of beauty. ;)
 
A friends older brother had a 65 Corvair. He bought it used. No clue how manty miles were on it but it was a lemon. Hard to keep running. It would die while we were cruising the park trying to impress the chicks. We'd all get out and look at the engine. Just look. Then the owner, Fred, would take his ratchet and start banging on different areas of the engine compartment. Eventually it would run. We had a lot of fun in that car ... when it would run.
