Hey guys and gals, it's that time again. Here I am with hat in hand.

This is the one time each year I ask for help with forum costs.

As you might guess, costs have gone up . Everything is more expensive. Last year many of you came to the rescue and I hope more will follow your lead this year. Just .68 cents, .28 cents or even 14 cents a day can make a difference. Pay in increments if you prefer; multiple payments over the course of the year are welcome.

If you enjoy the forums please donate to show your support for our forums.

I have some pens and cork screw bottle openers to give away. Just include your mailing address with your donation.

Donations have dried up. Nothing at all. I am so thankful for those who have stepped up and already donated. My hats off to you, but it's only a handful of you.

I truly enjoy keeping these forums going. I don't mind policing the spammers. Keeping junk posts to a minimum, managing the disk space, making sure performance and response time are acceptable. I don't mind upgrading the operating system and dealing with patches that are needed to the forum software. I like the geeky stuff and am not complaining.

The absolute hardest part of this endeavor is asking for donations. I hate doing it but it is necessary to keep things going. If you enjoy the forums and have funds to spare PLEASE donate. It is for a worthwhile cause and it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!!!!!

Aren't there only, ... like, ... twenty of us who use this forum? I feel like every member of this forum could fit on a single school bus.

..... (Except for redsqwrl....... he's lickin' the windows on the short bus). :yum:

But keep reminding us every once in a while....... we'll try to share what we can.

We have 11k members. Over 1000 active members who visit regularly. We've always had over twice as many donors as we have this year. Maybe a lot have dropped off. I can't say for sure but sad to say donors have sure dropped off.

I cancelled my paypal account years ago. Trying to get it resurrected but I don't like their terms (like they can watch my bank transactions as part of their TOS).
Spent an hour trying to do the paypal thing but not comfortable so I'll just send you a paper check.
Just need to find the paper check thingy's. I don't write many checks anymore.

Same here. I don't have to look up instructions for how to write a check but I do so few now days that I will soon forget.
My bank also offers Zelle. I've found that to be easy and painless if anyone wants to go that route DM me as you have to have my details and I will not post them out in the open.

Doc - I don't know how to do any of those Venmo, Zelle... type of those things.
I know how to write a check (as soon as I find the check book).
I'll get a paper check in the mail or have my kids tell me how to do the electronic payments.
