Ass kicking Tuesday!

BigAl

Gone But Not Forgotten
Holy Cow .
My ass is draggin tonight .
Got the metal roofing on the RV storage shed . Used every piece of new ( Old Stock) green metal roofing I had . Saved about $800 bucks . I had it stored for years and finally I stored something away and it finally worked in my favor .
Unfortunately I now have to go buy about $2000 in wall metal to finish the project .
It amazing how long it takes me to get something done now . I still think I am about 35 at times . Then , I get pissed off at myself when it takes longer than it use to .
Starting to get excited about being finished as this is the last major project I will do . I have started turning down any and all work that locals have been offering or asking me to do . I'll still do a little consulting work ,but I refuse to travel out of the area anymore . I like staying busy but 40 plus hour weeks is a little too much for this beat up old fart .
Moms been packing the new RV and I think we will be hitting the road on another shake down cruise in about one month .

It's about time that you stopped working and started to enjoy life. The big difference is when you want to take on a project because it sounds like fun to you. We all have to have something to keep us busy when we retire. If not then you die.

That is so very true Leni but I'm on Al's side and a few years ahead of him. I don't do big projects anymore, I farm them out. During this hot summer weather I've even cut the hours down to 4 or 5 a day but that's almost every day.

Al, I've got our RV fixed, checked out and packed. Just a few odds and ends to take care of but hope to be on the road by 9 o'clock tomorrow, heading to Colorado to get a break from the heat.

Give us a wave as you pass by Kansas! :flowers:
