Nixon implied all lib were liars, I was trying to get him to say it in so many words but of course he wont. I in no way personally insulted anyone. I dont understand why you mods and Doc allow that. You can talk about Ideas and stuff all day but when someone on the board starts telling someone they are too stupid to have their job etc, and the mods (hell the mods get on me for having a little differnet opinion all the time) back him up, well actually you have probably got the conservative circle jerk you want. You guys are nuts, on any other forum I am on I am considered pretty far right. I and very anti abortion and want the immagrations laws enforced and build the fence. Then I am real big on persoanl rights (seems RW to me) and UHC and anti capital punishment. I am not radical left by anymeans. This forum os so far right anyone is a lefty. I never intended to say anything like that to or about you, and I never remember thinking it. I disappear because I mod another huge site. It is a lot of fun but after a while you get burned out and have to take a while off.

I sometimes wondered if it was me, then I think about every single other person who was anything but far right is long gone to another forum. The way I see it, there is much anger all across the political spectrum on the left, because they see their power base is going to be eliminated come November, and they don't particularly like it. Just look at the blatant lies being told about republican and conservative candidates, which is something heretofore almost unheard of...all to protect the power base which seeks total control over people's lives. This is why socialism does not work. People who are making choices for the people who DON"T want what is being chosen for them (UHC, government ownership in private industry, wall street bailouts, stimulus money to unions, ignoring blatant election tampering because the offenders are the same color as the president and attorney general, etc) and are fighting back. We have absolute control of the congress by a party who has no allegiance to the rank & file, but supports ONLY the people who voted or campaigned for them. Massive corruption by long-seated politicians is being swept under the rug, where if the common man were to do the same thing they would suffer a severe jail term. All of that abuse of power will be coming to an end because of a grass roots movement of everyday Americans who are damn tired of being the shitees, and are going to throw out the shitters.
People like Beck and Limbaugh and Bachman and Hannity and Palin are exposing the truth behind the socialist agenda, and this angers the left like daylight angers Dracula. The truth will force the blood suckers back into their holes, and will also hopefully put some of them behind bars where they belong.
Interestingly, the strength of the left has eroded a lot within their own ranks already. Just look at the website where the FF libs went to, and you don't see much activity at all. There are no spirited discussions about political issues, because their spirit is pretty much deflated. One would think that having a forum where everyone was in agreement would be Nirvana for them, but it doesn't appear so. I'm not sure what you would call it, but I wouldn't call it Happy Town. I guess they're preparing for the November eventuality.
Yes, there is plenty of anger on the left, and it will continue even after the election as more conservative representatives will actually have some say in proposed legislation, and will actually be able to stop the socialist policies from becoming law. The anger will come from the beneficiaries of socialism who see their gravy train come to a halt.
The fight against the left's agenda is an ongoing fight. Naive and uneducated/undereducated people were led to a conclusion and voted for a socialist pied piper who promptly threw all of them under the bus to advance his agenda, and many of them are pissed. They will join the ranks of clear thinking TEA Party members who will vote in people who (hopefully) will do the will of the people, and not the will of the party. This, and myriad other truths, anger the left from the upper crust elitists in the white house, down to the mac2's who still believe that socialist policies will work in America, despite having failed in every other country they have been in place in. They will not go away without a fight, and it will get real ugly before it gets pretty.
