the 1st fleet was disbanded in 1947, it is now the 3rd fleet.

the 4th fleet still exists and covers the Caribbean, central, and south Americas.


BTW, the 2nd fleet as depicted by post #3 does not currently exist, it was dis-established in 2011.

our Navy is now a mere shadow of what it was just 10 years ago
