And we've found all kinds of nice stuff.

I went today and bought a Kubota G2160 mower for a friend. It's a nice mower with a 3-cyl diesel, 324 hours, power steering, bagger, hydraulic lift for mower and auto dump of the bagger. $3500. They're $9000 new.

He has a Big Tex 5x10' utility trailer that has 100 miles on it. I just bought it for $350. They're about $1700 new. :thumb:

He gave me (2) 5-gallon fuel cans full of diesel. FREE

Stihl 026 chainsaw. We're working on this one and I may cut down a couple trees for him in exchange in whole or part for the saw. I keep the firewood on top of it.

More tools and stuff coming soon.

NICE! I love garage sales and thrift stores. I went to a thrift store last month and bought 12 nice shirts and a few electronic things. I totalled it up be $570.... and MY price........ $39.29 :thumb:
 
Some guys can fall in shit and come out smelling like a rose. Not me I have to pay for all that I get.

Next item up is the Stihl 026. He wants $150 or some exchange for cutting down the trees. I checked on e-bay. The ones in similar condition are going for $225-$275. If I don't get this one Big Dog, do you want it?

I too am pretty much set on chainsaws but that's a great price.

I just remembered something and it may preclude me from cutting down the trees and taking the wood in exchange for the saw.
We have a quarantine on transporting wood (firewood in particular) in our area.
I need to check the details on whether intra-county transport is allowed but into or out of the counties affected is a criminal violation.
Here are the details.
 
Are you sure this is not a divorce sale? At those prices, you are probably dealing with the new boyfriend as he sells off the old husbands toys to make way for the wife to afford the new boyfriend and dump the old husband faster....:yum:.

Most of our wives could become fairly wealthy quickly if they wanted too....:4_11_9:

Yea, pretty sure it's not. They guy is loaded and is just pricing things to assure quick sale as he wants to move to his place in FL.

Now, there is another guy/couple around here that may be having a "divorce sale" of sorts. He's a multi-millionaire but his wife caught him cheating.

As I've heard, he's out of the house and she's keeping everything (which apparently seems OK with him).
The estate is over 500 acres and he's got loads of nice equipment. We're already thinking of the nice balers, wagons, tractors... she now has (and hoping to part with).

Squires Bingham Model 14 .22 (don't know anything about this one)
Hamilton Model 15 .22 (circa 1902-1910)

I also got a 12v Porter Cable cordless drill with 2 batteries, charger and flashlight.

No pics but I also picked up about 300' of what I call trickle hose. This is the garden type hose where the water leaches through the hose instead of a stream out the end.

Again, no pics but I got an outdoor table and 6 chairs. All heavy gauge steel with mesh table top and seats. Seats have coils that allow rocking (and they're very comfortable). With umbrella. $125 for all.

HEY!!! It's not "crap" when it's inbound to my place. It's "stuff". When I part with it is when it's "crap". I believe George Carlin said it well in this skit.
