WTB Bombardier SV 200 Differential Parts

Anyone have a source for new or used rear steering differential parts on a Bombardier SV 200? should be same parts for SV 200, SV 252 & SV 300 models, the machine we are looking for parts is a 1979 Model year machine....please let us know.

I was the service manager for Bombardier in Grand Junction Colorado 1991-2006 when Prinoth officially took over the Bombardier.....Camoplast Alpine Grooming and Utility Tracked Vehicle divisions in Granby Quebec Canada, we have had a very hard time getting any OEM parts from Prinoth on the GoTract GT 400's, SV200, SV252, SV 300, utility machines, mostly on steering differential replacement parts.....

A new ring and pinion for my SV200 from Prinoth in Granby (Quebec) is currently US $2385. I have a local repair shop that is willing to do the work. But they have not done one before. We have the Bombardier instructions for complete disassembly of the differential (35 pages and calls for some special tools).

Does it work to do partial disassembly and slide off the ring gear? Or do you have to take the whole differential apart to this job?
 
Minimum both brake drums have to come off, which means the side bearings will have to be sacrificed. The carrier will have to be split to get the ring gear off the left side and good chance the crown bolts will hit the planetary gears when unscrewing them. Its not rocket science , but a pain in the A.....ss. paint stick the gears make sure you see the timing marks before disassembly.
