Anyone dare put a guess in this early?

Who do you think will be playing in it, and who will win?

The team with the highest score:burp:

I want Colts but I am thinking Chargers are the best right now.

Ditto.

Even if you aren't a Colt's fan (I admit I am), it's hard to not want Dungy to win a Superbowl after all he's been through in the last year. I honestly think the odds are against them, but I'd like to see it happen. Hey, at least they had a defense in their win over the Chiefs. Where in the heck did that come from?!

I am not a Charger's fan, but it seems to me like there are the strongest. And I guess I hope so for Marty's sake.

The only thing I find comforting in being an old Eagles fan is it could of been worse, I could of been a Chargers fan.

14-2 for the season, picked to go to the Superbowl, and out on the first playoff game.

Of course, it's only a game and there are a lot more things important in life than just a football game.

Things look much better for the Colts, but I refuse to become optomistic yet.

Colts did beat the Pat's during the regular season, but I hate to admit, It may be the Pat's again in the Superbowl. If the bears do no better than they did against Seattle I am thinking the Saints will be joining the Pat's in the Superbowl.

murph

If I had to bet I would pick the Pat and Saints. But I would also have bet on KC adn the dirty birds, er Baltimore. The way things have gone I hope the Colts are not favored against the Pats.

well since LT and the Chargers let me down last week, I'll have to vote for the Saints simply because they deserve it, and i hate the Patriots with a passion, even though they are the most well rounded team left in the playoffs.

The Bears are good, especially on defense, but i can't trust Rex Grossman under pressure...

The Colts are good, especially on offense, but Peyton seems to have a reputation of choking in big games....

so my vote goes to the Saints, led by Drew Brees and the revolution known as Reggie! :thumb:

I read somewhere Payton already has his 9th annual superbowl "watching" party scheduled. I hope not. How do you think the Saints deserve it? They almost make me believe in conspiracies (sp?). Lets see, terrible team, storm blows away city, Super bowl team, hummm. Chicago at least the games I had the chance to watch looked pretty bad. If I had to bet right now I would bet on the Pat's.

well if i didn't hate the Patriots as much as i do, then i would pick them too. But under the circumstances, the Saints are the next best team for me to root for.

Red Socks .
Guess this kinda shows how much I care.

I quit watching Football after the last strike . Too many Prima Donna's for me .

They work more on their "end zone dance" than concentrate on the game . Its like Wrestling ... its all rigged !:4_11_9:

And all this from a guy who was going to turn pro after College :moon: :puke1:

Red Socks! :yum: :yum:
.... Well I'll try to remember your picks Dargo and BigAl. We have about 51 weeks until the Superbowl is played. I'd bet neither of you picked the winner of SB XLII.

After Little League I decided I would play both pro baseball and pro football. Somehow that just wasn't in the cards. :(

Yep all it took was to have my chest split down the middle for me to decide I needed to make an immediate career choice change . I never been hit that hard in my whole life . The tackler was known for splitting sterums so I should not have been surprized when he did it to me .

A little known fact : The average age of a professional football player when he dies is 48 .
