What a voice and what a song!

I've always appreciated Roger Whitaker. This is one of my favorites.

I would have loved to have heard that as I did like Roger Whittaker, but for some reason, all the utube stuff I can get the picture, but not the sound. This has been going on for several days now and there is no problem with my speakers - very strange!

Dang it CG, I just gave you rep points while playing that song and now my wife is getting all mushy :hammer::hammer: :hide::mrgreen:

I loved that song too! When I saw it was going to be played on a 45 I was excited about hearing the "shhh" just before the song starts

I haven't heard that song in many a long year. It brought back some good memories. Roger Whitaker was really popular in the UK when I lived there.

Thanks fort posting that. I first heard the song shortly after my first wife died in 1988 and it tore me up. Now, many years later, I've again reached a point in my life where the words are of particular significance and the song takes on a new and yet equally poignant meaning. Again, thanks.
