I remember those back in the late 60s. I was going to get one but decided on a Honda 160 with high pipes. It was my first motorcycle and I thought it was so powerful. Great pictures!!!!!

Remember when they were called Nethercutt for a while, same machine and you could mail order them from popular mechanics magazine In a crate. The guy who invented them has the bragging rights to the first disc brake on a motorcycle in 1955, the same year I was born.
 
It has the original Chrysler Power Bee engine with a new carb, they came with a kick start and pull start, however I converted to a torque converter for speed. It has a three speed transmission you must stop to shift. The lever next to the tank is the shift mechanism. Two wheel drive of course.
 
Anything with two wheels and a motor was forbidden fruit growing up on our farm.
That did not stop me from lusting for one of these.
We don't have mountains, but we do have miles of mud and hills. (y)
 
This machine was on a farm in Wenatchee its whole life before I purchased it from a family member of the farm owner. He said all the kids learned how to ride motorcycles on it.
