TRuck rims

I'm looking for some nice, light weight rims for my F250 4x4. Anyone have any recomendations?

I had these tire on my stock rims...I lost 2mpg ( untill my wife busted a cord in a sidewall running over a curb:sad:)

I smoked a turkey this weekend and took a pic that just so happens to include one of the wheels on my truck. It came with these 20" wheels. Sure gives the truck a smoother ride (at least I think that is the reason for the ride) and they also upgraded the brakes so that it stops extra smooth even when I'm towing a 6k boat behind.
The tires sure cost more for these oversized wheels though.

Here is a pic of my smoker and wheel .....

Hmmm....

I have those same stock rims on my F350 and they are already Aluminum

I honestly do not think you can find anything that would be lighter enough to gain you any mileage increases. If the stock rims were steel then switching to AL would help a little.

One other consideration it to be carefull in choosing an aftermarket rim. Make sure it is rated to carry the loads that truck can carry.

at one time there was a site you could go to and put in your info such as year, make, and model and color and see what your truck or car would look like with different wheels. call a tire and wheel dealer in your area to see if they know. some dealers hawe a program at their store, you can go there and see what they offer. what ever you do dont mexican up a ford truck i will hunt you down and piss in your boots if you do

don't worry,

"dingly balls" around the windshield, or low profile tires on a 4x4 is illegal in my book
