Talking Cat to cat ???

BigAl

Gone But Not Forgotten
Do you have a communications radio to talk to another snowcat from your rig to theirs ?
CB ??
Seems like this would be handy for group get togethers . I know there is a bunch of small handheld units available , but what do you use ?
I personally like the headsets that keep my hands free .

I have an intercom system with integrated radio in my cat from rugged radios. Works great for cat to cat and passenger to passenger if your machine is loud inside like mine is. I had mine programmed for the GMRS frequency so that I can also talk to the small hand held radios that you can buy just about anywhere.

I don't have a snowcat but for our similar application (ATV's), we use Motocomm headsets wired into Motorola FRS type radios.

The headsets we use are pre-wired into our helmets and just plug into the radio which is kept in a pocket or on the belt.

They also have other headsets that don't go into helmets but are worn like Tye One's avatar.
