Sold my last motorcycle today ... Sad Day for me

Really didn't want to do this.

Really didn't feel I had a choice.

I simply can't safely ride any more. My left wrist is in too much pain, too frequently and cannot take any sort of impact, shock or rapid movement without me seeing 'stars' if it takes any sort of shock or irregular movement.

Sold it to a kid, he is working on his masters degree at U of IL, he and his 2 friends came down to pick it up. Spent over an hour with all of them. All 3 are Indian, all 3 on Student Visas. All 3 nice guys. The actually buyer had experience, a fancy BELL helmet with a bluetooth comm unit installed.

Glad the motorcycle went to a good guy.
But sorry to see it go away.
This was my very favorite bike.
Not the fastest.
Not he most exciting.
Not the most prestigious.
But the most capable overall for all things. Easy to ride, short or long distance. Fast enough. Economical enough. Gravel, grass, but not pure sand. Mild off-road, but not the Rubicon trail. Just my favorite.

I can relate, I gave my last one to my step son about 5 years ago, I still see it from time to time when he rides it over. I still capable but lost interest in it.
