Sliding sideways in Ventrac

Finally got a chance to test my new used Ventrac 4200 with a Steiner Blower. Driveway is paved and fairly steep. It did not want to climb back up and did some good sliding. I pulled the weight transfer all the way back. No difference. Only 2 inches (I was doing more testing than blowing) of snow so it was real slick from driving on it today.

I have used a Steiner 430 at work with the blower and have never slid much. I have weights on the back and put the Ventrac in low.

Any suggestions? Lower psi - more weight - chains?????

I would put a set of chains on at least the front tires. With the weight transfer system up to 80% of the implement weght is carried on the front axle.

My driveway is nearly flat and I rarely use my Ventrac in the winter, but the tires are not well suited for snow work. My tires are great on grass, good on dirt, but not so good on slipery surfaces.
